NEW YORK CITY:

definitely the most enjoyable place out of all the states.

The moment you are there, you feel the hustle and bustle of the city

A vibrant city that has like 1001 things to do.

Shake shack :

try their shack burgers and milk shakes! the milk shakes are oooooo yummy!

Peter Luger Steakhouse is a MUST-TRY in nyc.

appetizer - and even for someone who hates onion like me , I ate them!

The onions are sweet and juicy!

The porterhouse: tender and slightly fat. chew and savour the texture of the meat all together!

For lunch, we went to the Lombardi's pizza

it is OMG huge

Just two pizzas for the 8 of us - some still struggled to finish it.

It was quite nice but i wont say it is fantastic.

One more down (Y) yay! Strictly pancake is located at prinsep street, a short walk from dhoby ghaut MRT . The walk was worthwhile , burn down some fats before we could input more carbo and more fats!

R ordered salmon run and I got benedict the thief (basically poached eggs with ham).

His comes with a medium (3 pancakes) and mine with a short(2 pancakes). Next.we got to choose what kind of butter we want :

salted/unsalted/garlic and herb/ rum and raisin

cute serving of maple syrup and butter ; you cant see there but the shotglass is tilted!

Boy and his VANILLA milkshake :) woots, ur hair is growing out fast!

salmon on the run with sourcream sauce. the sauce seriously sucks but the combination of the salmon + maple sauce + salted butter simply brings u to heaven :) shiokkkkkkkkkkk man!

was just listening to tanya chua "双栖动物", which basically means "amphibian" .

putting in it on replay. really very touching , especially how tanya sings it.

somehow u can feel that her personal experience. and probably she has gone thru abit to sing with such strong feelings.

this song is really meaningful and kinda reflects how people view love nowadays.

it starts with the girl, jingzi saying

"我愛上了一個人無可救藥。"

and then the guy, ahxiang saying

"我愛她可是更愛自由。"

Many of the times , we are like ahxiang.

craving to have someone to love and to be loved but when we are really in a relationship, we long for freedom. we want to have our own life , do our own things. dont want to report to anyone else. At some point in time,we start to complain that the other person is restricting us and trapping us.

In this case, trapping inside water while our soul is seeking for another comfort corner in the air ,above water. Thus the term amphibian in the song comes about . Nowadays , there arent many left like jing zi - how she loves a guy and only loves him , one and only. but that is extreme , cuz we know 爱情不能当面包。

this week is full of mishaps man! :(
first is the company law presentation.
initially prof announced that the group only has me, tat chung and khai nam.
so we splitted the work and prepared the slides .. i rmb doing until 430am ok! :(
that was last friday.. we supposed to present but prof postponed it to this tuesday =.=
three of us abit sian cuz we rush out the ppt yet we cant present.

okay then on sunday tat chung called me and said that the prof actl posted the grouping online.
then we have one more grp member - da wei
i sian diao.. he said da wei called him to ask him if he can join our group..
i was still templating to tell da wei to tell prof to put him into another group..
but in the end, as kind-hearted souls, we decided to let him into the group and give him some slides to present..

okay luckily the law presentation went on quite well i feel. quite smooth and well coordinated even though we met up only once to do it. and i have never seen da wei before until the day of the presentation. good job my group, hopefully it is a A+!!!!!

okay the most suay one is this:

i injured my anke during training ystd (wed sept 7). it was like i did a move called "macbeth" and ran the back door . angie was the defender and she ran at top speed towards me. when i saw her coming, i made an extra pass out to the next supporting member. angie saw the ball being swung out and she gave chase. the moment she turned and changed direction, she hit/hook my leg and the next thing i know i fell to the ground. my ankle was damn painful lah, i couldnt stand on my own. ali carried me to the sideline and sprayed cold spray on me.i just keep crying cuz the pain was stinging and throbbing. sherry went to take ice and they helped to elevate my ankle. xinru and mai so nice , they piggyback me after training, knowing that it was impossible for me to walk. I cabbed home. the swell worsened when i got home.

this morning, i cant feel my ankle lah. the moment i got down the bed.. the pain struck me and I could help screaming out loud.. dad came home specially from work to bring me to the doctor. he piggyback me to the clinic.. he was perspiring like mad and he was saying that he got knee injuries.. i really appreciate it man daddy! i know i very heavy, sorry to make u worried!! joee also very nice, she is practically my "maid" now!!

ankle tapped up! the doctor damn mean.. i was crying and shouting but he just continued rubbing my ankle :"( but i must say he got the skills cuz i feel much better now.. still very pain but it is more bearable!!!

i thought last week was more fulfiling.

my shopping loot finally arrived :):):):)

and on saturday i helped my mum make mooncakes :)

starting with cutting the melon seeds..

the 3rd of week of school is coming to an end.
the stacks of reading and tutorials are already piling up :@
it is so hard to keep up with them with so many activities at hand.

mon weds fri i have training from 6 to 9. by the time i reach home it is already 11pm.
always very mentally and physically exhausted after training.
tues and thurs i will work at scoopz normally. i initially thought that it is a pretty brainless job but it is physically tiring. I can feel my right hand muscle throbbing and getting tonner. wah extra touch rug training man. hmm.. shld start trying to scoop using the left hand hur...so it will be equal.
sat im gonna to start teaching tuition to 2 malay boy. I think one of them I have to teach them chinese? hmmm it states in the contract and i wonder if it was stated wrongly...if not it will be rather interesting. :)

sooo i am basically left with SUNDAY. thank god for sunday (in memorial of Jesus Christ's resurrection. lol) and i cant wait for this sunday! it is the election day :) monday is a school holiday but sian got training also.. zzzz.. but can sleep until late late.. nvm wanna mug in school beforehand =x gpa 5.0! im pretty motivated to achieve 5.0 this sem but now TONA - talk only no action.

watched a movie recently titled
HORRIBLE BOSSES

which is a crude, vulgar yet simply entertaining movie that depicts three employees having their lives screwed by their bosses.
the one at the utmost left is a freaking psycho, dave that nags at nick (below) for being 2 minutes late.
he made nick apologise and admit that he was lying about abt a minute late, which in fact he was 2 mins late. you can see how psycho he is in the later part of the movie

the one on the right is pellet which is a useless bum who uses the company money to womanise. not such a bad boss except that he despises pregnant woman and disabled man. maybe that is bad enough. oh ya he is also environment unfriendly when he asked Kurt to dispose the chemical waste unethically.

the centre one is the most hilarious. it is funny watching as an audience but I was thinking if there is such a lady boss in real life , it will be super f up :( you will get what I mean when u watch this clip below:

julia played by jennifer aniston is like sexually harrassing Dale, wanting him to have sex with her. like WTH? she is super indecent in the movie i swear. she sprayed water on Dale pants (crotch area) on purpose so that she could make out the shape of his .... and she asked his fiancee to come for a dential checkup and tried to make out with him over his fiancee unconscious body (Julia gave her anesthetics). Im gonna introduce to you a super addictive game on iphone,ipad or itouch....
it is the TINY TOWER! im sooo hooked on to this game that the first time i wake up is to restock my stores!

this is basically how you play it:

you have two mode of payment in the game which is the coins and bux.
you can see currently i have 7,234 coins and 0 bux :(
your aim is to build the floors of the tower.
To build my 7th storey, i need 7,349 coins!

to earn coins or bux, you have to send people up via the elevator/ sell products.

MY CUSTOMER IS A DOMOKON!! soooooo kawaii.. and it wants to go to level 5. so I have to keep pressing the arrow"up" until i reached that level. and sometimes if you are lucky, the customer will tip you a bux!

besides sending people up to the stores, you are also busy making sure that there are stocks in the stores. for example, the pizza at the pizza place takes "28M" 28 mins to restock while the shoes will take "1M" another 1 min to be stocked up.

you can see my fifth level is under construction. you can either build
1. residential
2.retail
3.food
4.service
5.creative
6.recreation

when you choose either of these choices , businesses are randomly created everytime. you might get a laundry mat, cineplex or a casino (i got that one!nice! :) )
if you build a residential level, people will start staying in and these are the people who will tend the stores.

you must match their personal index to the most suitable job! you earn coins by making them work

you get extra buxs for putting them into their dream job (that's provided you have the shop!)

you could even evict them out of the tower!

another thing that they have is the bitbook, bb. it is sth like the facebook except that we cannot participate in it. it is all computer generated so we can only read it. and have a good laugh cuz it is soooo lame.

oh no bad choice to put lori wheeler in the shoe shop cuz she is complaining on bb.

i forget to stock the pizza place and the shop had to close down.

my neighbor is one bit short of a byte! lol , means he is short !!!! :(

little did we know that there are no seats at the padang .

It was just a big field and we have to sit on the floor (great that groundsheets were provided)

I think this year performance is unlike the previous years ones. I feel that this year is much much nicer and they definitely put alot of thoughts and effort in the planning! thumbs up to all performancers, dancers ,soldiers and paraders.

I like the idea of having a mrt on stage cuz it is definitely something worth mentioning.

after the whole thing ended, I had a surge of emotions. probably because i will be going US for an exchange end of this year.. oh ya on the side note there is like 40% that I wont be able to go US.. my dad was like telling my mum not to let me go america as I cant take good care of myself (referring to me coughing for almost a month now). and my mum agree that I will surely go wild there since in singapore, I often go home past midnight. without their supervision, they believe that I will hang out late at night, dont sleep etc (WILL I ?? ACTL I DONT HAVE THE ANSWER TO THAT TOO :( )

so so she was like "we may have to reconsider sending you for an exchange.." hmmm.. actl i think i wont stay out late in US. first , it is not safe to do so and after all, im in a foreign country- i wont go out until past midnight. the people going with me also look studious and quite serious and I dont think that there are any party animals among them, though i might be wrong.

hmmm.. this is kind of troubling me somehow.

went to work at Hitachi on sunday 31/7 and monday 1/8
nope, not selling home appliances of electronic products but
fyi hitachi also does transport and storage services

So I was actually going to work in the warehouse to count uniqlo stocks.

The warehouse was stuffy and I can immediately feel the drastic change in temperature when I step into the place. The people also look like foreign workers , with a mix of indians, banglahs, AT and malaysians. There were a group of ah bengs and young malay girls and boys and I reckon they were also sent here by recruit express.

First day, I was paired up with a young boy, jeremy. He is one of the "ah beng" and indeed he is a school drop-out, waiting to be enlisted. Didnt talk much as it was dusty and stuffy so everyone just want to get over and done with the work. The job was brainless yet tedious - counting the pieces of clothes in each pallet. There were first count, second count and even third count.......

you cant imagine how many rows of pallets and how many cartons of clothes we checked through.

During lunch, I was already so sick and tired. I decided that I want to go IMM and eat. Luckily there was this girl, meng that also share the same thought. We walked together to IMM which is a 10min walk away. We chatted a little and realised we have alot of common friends. Hmm this is how small Singapore is. We hurriedly ate and went back 10 mins late. Everyone started working and jeremy told us that they actually packed food for us but the food was KNS. so only meng and I had a good meal :D IN AIRCON ROOM SOMEMORE.SHIOK AH :)

We slogged until 630 and I headed to popo's house for a yummlicious dinner!

Second day
was 10 mins late and when I arrived, everyone had already reported to their respective team leaders. My partner was nowhere in sight. Thought i could partner Meng but the leader wants us to each pair with an indian. Meng was with the same partner she got ystd.At first, I tot my partner's smell was overpowering but I got used to it after some time.
Both the indians are super hardworking, no chance to slack at all. And at the end of the day, I realised they are pretty nice and this makes me feel bad for being so racist.

NBS FOC AFTER THOUGHTS :)

It is heart-warming to see the new batch of freshies in FOC.
The camp has turned out to be a success, all thanks to the exco, co-chair cp jq, co-chair cgl mh, logs, biz mags,pnp,cgls and cps . Hours and days of preparations put in just for a 5d4n camp.you cannot imagine how much time is sacrificed to do the planning of the entire camp. We had 2 trial runs and there were hiccups here and there.

Being the welfare ic of the camp wasnt easy for me too. I had to source for food caterers and work within the tight meal budget. Not only that , we had to settle accommodation for each OG , which is almost 500 of you. The hardest part will have to be attending to first aid cases. There are afew peculiar ones like sudden backaches or sudden inability to walk. I remember staying with the girl from nimbus who had no strength in her legs. There were blueblacks everywhere. I just had no choice but to apply deepheat on her whole legs.

but I think nothing beats more than seeing the freshmen enjoying the camp. The new friendship formed, the HTHT sessions, the mingling, the cheer fights and all the sotong sauces will live in the memories of everyone until the day we leave school. I think each and every one who has been through NBS FOC wants to relive that memory and pass on that unique experience to the next batch. I have already done my part in contributing back to FOC and i hope this new batch of juniors will step up and create the same experience for the next batch.

ANYWAY, I feel that our junior batch, HOCUS is super ups. They have been going out for outings consecutively for 7 days since the camp ended. I didnt have the time to interact with them due to my duties but I can say I can very proud of them. I can really see them living the legacy of Hamily. I super proud to be part of this family too.The hove is overwhelming especially during the performance night, all the seniors came back to cheer . Some rushed down from work just to show their never-changing support for the H-family. Also, almost every night of the camp, they bought us supper and drinks so that we wont be hungry.

You cant believe how much money I have left in my bank account now. It is two digits.

I have spent almost all my money on clothes and food :( (when can FOC return me the money for pre-camps!!! AHHHHHH)

Saturday 2nd July

Dad booked a hotel room in festive hotel at RWS :)

R came to join us and we had dinner at an italian restaurant called Palio :)

All the plates and utensils are designed by Michael Graves :D A famous designer of the brand Alessi .

So honoured to be using his creation !

Bread was served with a special sauce- OLIVE OIL PLUS VINEGAR!

They are immisicle but what a unique match :)

Next time will try to replace this with butter cuz it will be a healthy choice!!

My main course- beef which costs $42 @.@ it is tender and yummy but the portion is slightly too small.My cousin Javier cant stop complaining how hungry he is from the dinner

R ordered carbonara :) He said it was slightly too cheesy!

After that, joee, jave, R and I went to take the monorail out to vivocity to catch transformers 3 :)

Who knows that the queue at the monorail was superrrrr duppppperrrr scarily long! We started queueing at like 8pm and by 825pm we will still not up the monorail yet! and guess what, our movie starts at 830pm! Luckily we made a very last min decision to jump over to the beach station side and take a rebounce to vivocity. OMG SHOULD HAVE DONE THAT MUCH EARLIER O.O

We reached about 8.35pm and javier wanted to drink GONGCHA so badly that we went to queue for it! The gongcha was slightly longer than expected, probably because it was near closing time. we took like 20mins to get our drinks! R recently told me that he started to like pearls because of me :)

By the time we went in to watch TRANSFORMERS , it was super late.

I took another 20mins to figure out what is the show about. It came to me that there was like a "war" between the autobots and decepticons but the problem was that I couldn't differentiate who is who. They all looked similar to me - I could only recognise bumblerbee with its yellow and black and optimus prime with its tinge of red and blue. So in my opinion, the movie was so-so, probably not my cup of tea. Or maybe I miss the front part of the movie which some said that it was the best part of the whole movie!

After the show, we headed back to the hotel. Played with lightsticks and had a few round of monopoly deal! :) We also watched the movie PAUL on joee's lappy. If you think that it is about a scary alien invading the earth,it is probably quite the opposite! Paul is funnily rude and swears alot . He is pretty harmless and he can make himself invisible :) COOL HUH!

at around 3am , dad and mum came back from the casino. Then grandma and aunt came back shortly after them. There was like 8 people in the room and there isnt much room to sleep so i suggest that R and I can squeeze together on the small bed . Mum was over-reacting and refused to let us sleep tgt! come on man, it is not like we will do anything :( so sleep with joee and R , jave and aunt sleep on a mattress on the floor. I know that R surely couldnt sleep in such an environment.

Around 445, R msged me something like this

"Sleep already?"

"Wanna go out?"

So we sneaked out and we keep quiet 'cause we're if they knew

We laid on the sun loungers by the pool and felt the cool breeze.

At the corner of my eyes, I thought I saw a white figure. R told me not to keep looking around as sentosa is known to be haunted (from WWII). I shut my eyes and hugged R tightly. But then I occasionally open my eyes as I feel unsafe.

Then this time round, I really saw a person wearing white walking towards us . I asked R to wake up and see. I was sure he walked behind our loungers but I didnt see clearly cuz

first it was dark, second, I have halos at night.

R SAID HE DIDNT SEE ANYONE!!!!

OMG! I COMPLETELY FREAKED OUT AT THAT POINT OF TIME. I WAS DAMN SCARED. MAYBE I HAVE SEEN A GHOST. I DIDNT KNOW I HAVE THE "YIN YANG " EYES UNTIL NOW. OMG I HOPE THAT IT IS NOT TRUE!!!!

I just kept closing my eyes and refused to open them. I told R i wanna go back to the hotel immediately but he said he wanna sleep on the loungers(if he was to go back, he cant sleep at all ). R asked me not to let my thoughts wander and just sleep. but how can I sleep man? Im shaking in fear from within :(

Then i think I very cek ark.. scared but still keep wanting to open my eyes. Maybe I wanna prove to myself that they are real humans and not spirits or whatsoever. Just then, at the side of the swimming pool, I think I saw a man wearing black there. then he disappeared into the sidewalk. I told R in shock that I think I saw another person in black.

R widened his eyes and said "oh dear I think you saw the 黑白无常". They are the two sent out to get people when they are dying. I was really freaked out and I begged him to go back to the hotel now. R seem pretty worried for me and we headed back to the hotel.

we fell asleep back in our respective places until 10am.

We woke up and headed to the beach .I tried to put the matter behind my back... but I still bothered me somehow somewhat :(

Saturday was TOUCH ATTACK.

getting down to the field for warm and game.

My role was to sound the horn to signal the start and end of the game. During the game, i have to sound it every 2min to signal a drop off . In simple terms, *horn* game starts. then the players will drop to 5v5 then 4v4 and finally 3v3 with every horn. TIME MANAGEMENT was the key for this role :D hehe
we ended the event almost timely and everyone were tired but happy! great job to everyone especially:
pam- great emcee :) also for the sponsors too

The dance steps for the first song were pretty easy but the pace was rather fast :) good luck to the guys man cuz the dance steps are pretty gay. Next,we learnt how to shuffle too but I still damn noob at it. Next time i'll try again, but next time round with shoes.

gotta rush down to SP for friendlies :) we beat sp 9-0. it was a good start to our training as everyone morale went up!

Starting from monday : Went to bishan j8 to meet R then had hk cafe 生面.. the beef one was nice but the seafood one didnt taste out exactly nice. bought koi home then go out for training :)

tuesday: meet R at cityhall to pass him the camera and get his adidas sport shoes! it is pretty awesome as it is like orange in colour! send him off to SIM leadership camp in perak >.<

omg feel damn bad that I can only stay for that long. after that I went to fairprice to get mamee and oreo.

I got like 22 packets of oreo and 23 mamee and they filled up the whole trolley. Had a difficult time pushing them to the taxi stand!

reach school in less than 15mins time by taxi! 3 cheers for the taxi driver.

goodie bags. need to put the vouchers and food one by one into the 300 plus bags =.=

TRAINING WAS CANCELLED HOORAY! faster jio yy out to go shopping! MANGO was having sales and we grabbed a knitted sweater each :) f21 , zara and topshop were quite disappointing. didnt really see things that we like. even if we like it, it was too pricey :(

went back to NTU. need to settle everything for tml TOUCH ATTACK- 100 plus a-boards, flags, frolick vouchers, watermelons and jerseys! :) hope it will be a success. no rain please.

Water Marble nails are sooooo amazing!

I tried doing it myself and TA DA! ONE SUCCESSFUL NAIL ONLY ;X

It is actually quite simple but to make it nice,you need alot of practice.

First, fill a plastic cup/bowl with water. Use filtered water or distilled water for better effect.

Then, choose the nail polish colors you want and drip 2-3 drops into the water.

CHOOSE THOSE THAT WILL SPREAD IN THE WATER!

I tried one lousy brand and the whole drop sink to the bottom of the bowl.

Recommeded: OPI nail polish or FACESHOP

Third step: keep dropping different colors so they look like a bulleye.

Preparation before you drip your fingers into the middle of the nail polish:

PUT SCOTCH TAPE AROUND.

especially the cuticle part..

oh my god I never ever pictured myself doing such a crazy thing man..

I gotta thank this random girl called lynne soon. She cant make it for the marathon , that's why I bought over her package.Also, thank R cuz he was the one who asked me to join the race. I didnt think too much at that time, or perhaps I wasnt thinking at all. I still thought we wont be running in the end , just like the NTU bike rally.

EVEN my grandpa thinks Im crazy. My grandma was telling him about it and said "still got $65" She was referring to me paying $65 for only 2 shirts and a medal. Then my grandpa was like "Not bad what, run already still got $65 to take home". Grandma replied,"NO SHE GAVE THEM $65, not they gave her $65"

"GONG SUN!" Grandpa exclaimed! It means retarded granddaughter for the benefit of those who dont speak hokkien.

Lol. To think of it now, it is really quite dumb to pay $65 to inflict pain and suffering to your own body, both physically and mentally huh?! But it is a form of personal achievement and I am very proud of it!

The race experience:

We reached expo at around 840pm to take the shuttle bus. R spotted fann's bf E on the bus. Goodness, I cant even recognise E until R pointed him out. FB has made our world really small.

Then,who on earth will expect a freaking traffic jam that cause us to be late for the marathon at 10pm? At 9.55pm, R and I were still stucked on the bus. R went up to the bus driver and asked if he could open the door so we can walk in to the Changi exhibition centre. The bus driver refused. More people went up to the bus driver and complained. Suddenly, one side of the door swung open and R and I took a bee-line at the door and escaped. People on the bus were stunned and a few followed suit. It was 5km away from the meeting point. We ran all the way in. Tired and covered in perspiration , we reached the bag deposit area. Yep, we haven even started our race yet.

At around 10.30pm, R ,R's fren and I started our 42km journey. The first 5km was alright and we had good pace - about 30mins for the 5km. Somehow in between, we lost R's fren . Then the next 10km I was running at constant speed and I kept on losing R cuz he was lagging behind. I was abit unhappy cuz R kept stopping.I came to realise that he had a blister on his foot. We got a plaster from the first aid booth and he was off running again.After that, I was lagging behind..trying very hard to catch up..Then I sort of regreted later about moving off ahead cuz if I haven exerted too much energy, I could have lasted longer and completed faster. But at the point in time, I didnt know I was quite fast. I was just blasting off my clubbing hits on my ipod and moving in sync with the beat. "FIRE BURNING ON THE DANCE FIRE~ THAT SHAWTY"

We took around abt 3hours to hit ard 20km. And that is when, I felt my left knee going to give way and I couldnt really run anymore. My mind was very frustrated bcos it wasnt even halfway through the race. I wanted R to run off without me cuz I know he is still have energy and the capability to run. But R insisted to keep me company and he said that he wont leave me alone no matter what. My heart melted at that moment and I picked myself to try to jog slowly.. I know I cant stop cuz this guy is here with me going thrugh the same thing. I know I can rely on him no matter what. We ran slowly but stopped every now and then to stretch and drink.

Around 27km, I was damn tired and we took a rest by a pond in ECP. He pointed out to me that there were many stars. A pity that I couldnt really see, I only managed to spot afew of them but to me. It was somehow romantic as we lie on each other for that few mins to rest our legs <3 I massaged his back for awhile and off we go on the track again.

I forget around which distance,I start to feel very demoralised. My knee was hurting badly and my ankles start to ache too. My toes were barely there and I cant really jog properly. R asked me to rest but I refused cuz I know we already spend some time sitting by the pond alr. Know that I very stubborn, R offered to piggyback me. But how could I let him do such a thing when I know that both of us are already very tired... I refused and he said this "I go piggyback other girls eh if you dont want...." I hurried jumped up his back.. He piggybacked me the distance of 3 lampposts and I feel so fortunate and blessed to be able to rest my head on his back :] I had sufficient rest so it was back to jogging-walking.In between he piggybacked me afew more times :) I think might have amounted to almost 200m of piggyback! someone fit siol..

While being piggybacked once, fann called out to me.Quite happy to see her.. I think her fren give up so she run back alone. I was still struggling with my knees and I tried to forget the pain. But it was impossible. Every step was torturous and I was feeling very stressed. I wanted to give up. I was even more stressed when I saw the mountain of paper cups the runners used. I started thinking about what a lousy event this is. pay money to do torture. Also, it is very environmental unfriendly. Then I thought about amt of cups we used, the number of trees we killed. I thought about how my feet and ankles are crying out for help. Why I put them thrgh such torture? What did they do to deserve such sufferings? It is amazing how much stuffs were going through my brain at every single point in time. I was dishearted, frustrated, tired, shagged,hurt,pain.

I think R feel my agony and luckily, R kept on encouraging me and gave me his shoulder for support. He was my pillar of strength. He carried me from time to time. He sang songs to me to keep my mind from thinking about the pain and the nonsense.He asked me to sing along with him. First it was wonderwall, then some jay chou song then tong hua. I have to say that I couldnt make the distance if not for him. I just kept on pushing myself to the limits so as not to disappoint my boy. He is always here for me so I cant give up. He told me to think of positive things which I did. i really admired how positive R was. I know he was tired too but he dont want to show it to me for fear I will be even sadder :( He even piggyback me .. that is incredible <3

Other incidents worth rmbing during the race was that:
1. We saw one of R's fren B.. We just bursted out laughing tgt! :D:D so joke he was =S
2.At the hydration station, when R was drinking, a guy just threw the water on him. Then I faster took 2 cups of water and we hurried in front to splash back the guy! lol.. then my dear cannot rmb which one is the guy cuz everyone wearing the same colour shirt!!!
3.There is some girl who wear a uber short tight which showed her butt.. R and I called her buttock girl. We never ever let the buttock girl overtake us. Everytime we saw her pass by, we started to jog abit..
4.Some guy who walked like terry fox

All these events sort of boost my motivation abit but after awhile it was back to dragging my feet. Gotta suck it up and continue moving yo. i feel like escaping to the side of the road and hop on a cab but I realised my cash and hp are at the bag deposit. Yeah, good way to deter ppl from giving up huh?

Oh we didnt get to eat the power gel :( they bluff us! Even how slow we took, we still deserved our power gel right! only got bananas.. so sad hurr.. I was so hungry that I kept thinking abt chicken rice as I walked.

The last 5km I think I could die. I couldnt even walk properly. R held my hand tightly and we took every step together. It felt as if it was only me and him against the whole world. he turned to me and said "just take it just a stroll together".. and we continued walking.Thoughthe progress was slow, Im glad that we didnt give up. The 5km was hell man. You wont believe that this 5km seem like there is no end to it. We took like eternity to complete it. We feel like cutting across the field but the smell of victory was close. We knew that we shldnt give in to any temptation. Moreover, we came this far and we could push ourselves a little more.

We keep telling ourselves that it is near but we kept on getting disappointed. The finishing line was nowhere to be seen. The runners ahead were turning at the bend. Oh my, is there still a distance to cover? I got mentally devastated and I kept on chanting "I CANNOT MAKE IT.."

Just as we are about to lose hope,we saw the finishing line! I was too tired to feel happy. R and I slowly jogged towards it tgt. In total we took 8hours to complete the whole thing.

The happiness only kicked in when I received my finisher tee and my medal! :)

oh yeah! we did beat the sunrise :) by that litte bit!

yep! no sleep for the entire night okay!

After which we took the shuttle bus out to changi village. On the way out, at ard 7.20pm , we can see ppl walking the route.OMG, jiayou man.. Just perserve through the end!!

I feel super happy now that Im blogging abt it. Feel proud of me and my boy! :) the painful experience of the marathon my brain sort of try to erase it off to retain the beautiful memories. All in all, this kind of marathon can only run once in a lifetime. All the other distances (5km.10km,21km) seem no kick to me now since I alr conquer 42km.. oh i forget about the ultra-marathon. 100km for the insane.

To that special guy: So tiring so tough , we can already tide thrgh it hand in hand. I cant think of things that we cant accomplish tgt since we alr did the impossible :) Even if there are rough times in the future, or times that I feel like giving up, I will relate back to the race. think about we have overcomed them tgt, one step at a time.damn grateful that I have you thrghout the race! *winks* i love you baby boy!

The recent general elections have been eagerly discussed among Singaporeans, young and old.

We all know that PAP is in control now..

so you thinking putting afew more MPs from the opposition party can stand up against 80 other MPs from the PAP? unlikely, sadly to say so.

I am not trying to say we shldnt vote for the opposition. Personally,I feel that there are a few outstanding politicans in the opposition party like mr chiam see tong,mr chen show mao, mr low thia khiang.. I saw a post by R that mr chiam's office is under a void deck as the PAP refused to give him an office. How heart-wrenching to know that he goes all the way out just to serve the people. However, is this for their best? can he get money for upgrading? facilities? no he cant unless PAP approved of them.. If residents of potong pasir and aljunied choose to vote for the opposition, they must bear the consequences.Property prices might drop.

Also, NSP nicole seah has gained popularity from the youths, becoming a "celebrity" overnight. I personally like her too due to her frank personality and sweet appearance. She can speak eloquently too. However, after discussion with my cousin, I realised that her policies are quite unrealistic. Reducing GST to 5%? The whole world is having inflation; the inflation we experienced is due to imported inflation..Inflation is unavoidable.. And also our national income is closely tied to inflation. You want national income to rise but inflation to be stagnant? How to?? But I admire her for her ambitions. She will make a fine politician someday.

Im feeling very upset..frustrated..

with myself cuz Im screwing my life up seriously..

I cant help but to complain about the quality of blogshop/ website/g-market models.

I was surfing on g-market for nice clothes but apparently I have difficulty finding things that i like

basically because of the MODELS.

for example,

i saw the photo below and i was like wts :( ugly shirt + ugly leggings )

but the next photo which is another model wearing the SAME SHIRT.

it makes me think that this top is actually quite KAWAII.

actually i think because the model cute so the shirt become cute.

the following clothes i feel that they are cui (just in the length/material and design abit hmmm.)

but the model makes them look nice. very lovely. makes ~~ppl~~ me wanna buy them.

BLOODY %&^&@^*&!(*&&()! someone stole my 8 months old birks which i left outside my house. my mum, sis , etc shoes were left untouched! why my birks? what a smart thief i can say , only take away the most expensive one! i hope the thief will slip and fall wearing my shoes =x or the birks will be stolen by another thief D: then he will know how it feel to be "ripped off"!

It is one of the happiest day of the week. endure through a tough week and

a long weekend is drawing near :)

met R at clementi. had koi :) and just as we were leaving, we saw hair cut going only for $2.40! cheap deal :) and then the kiasu-ness kicks in, we hurried and joined the queue. I chop off about 2 inches of my hair and R got a completely new hair style.

he shaved off the sides of his hair! he can really pull off this AH BENG (gangster )look :/

after that I travelled to his house and had dinner w R and R's mummy.
